The Problem

Staking SOL with a validator results in two types of rewards: Block rewards and MEV rewards. Think of MEV rewards as “tips” paid out to validators.

Block rewards are part of the native Solana protocol. They get automatically restaked every epoch. MEV rewards get added to your stake account, but are NOT automatically restaked.

How it Works

Connect your wallet.
Free The MEV scans the blockchain for your active stake accounts.
Choose to Restake or Withdraw.
- Restake: Your MEV rewards become a new stake account and start earning staking rewards.
- Withdraw: Your MEV rewards are transferred from your stake account(s) to your wallet.

Is it Safe?

Absolutely. Built by the trusted team behind the Pesky Penguins project, Free The MEV doesn't use any custom SPL programs or smart contracts. It simply passes you a single transaction to restake or withdraw your MEV rewards.

Is it Free?

Free The MEV is completely free to use. There are no fees.

If you elect to restake your MEV rewards, they are staked to the Pesky Penguin validator, a high-performance, 0% commission validator.

You may also elect to donate a portion of your unlocked MEV rewareds to the Pesky Penguins Snowball. This is purely optional, and there's no penalty for not donating.
